  1. Hello Gabrielle,

My girlfriend and I are celebrating our one year anniversary on June 7, and I was wondering seeing as how Elsewhere is her favorite book that she has ever read, if there was anyway I could get a signed copy or something to help comemerate are time spent together. We actually went on our first date to a book store where she introduced me to your book, the way she showed so much passion and love for your literature made me just smile and I knew then and there she would be around for a long time so I read your book…and I also loved it! I’ve been trying so hard to think of something that would help celebrate our one year mark…and what better way to do that then by taking it back to the book that started it all. I’m located in the Los Angeles area and I would be soo grateful if you could at all help me, and us, celebrate one beautiful year together. I know she would smile so hard if I gave her something relating to your literature.

    Thank you.

  4. Yesterday (8.18.2018) After attending your signing event in Shanghai, I came to Suzhou to find friends to play. Now I have to go back to Shanghai to wait at the train station. It has been 50 minutes late when I wrote this text. The screen also shows that the late time is unknown. There are so many people here, hot, and the battery is running out. Is it interesting? LOL!The first time I encountered this kind of thing, I thought about getting to know some people, but they are all old people or parents with children. I don’t want to bother couples. So sleepy, I really want to go back to my comfortable home, take a shower, change my clothes and continue to read your book.

    Thanks for reading.

      1. – But you are doing very well, obviously.
        – Oh, so glad to hear that and I was described like this for the first time. When I put on the earphone, the world what I can see plays roles like what I wanted to see.
        – Um,I feel that I am always bothering you. So this gonna be the last one:)
        – Have nice weekend.

  5. Hi Gabrielle! I just finished reading your wonderful book « The storied life of A.J. Fikry ». I bought it a couple years ago, but didn’t have the opportunity to read it. I guess books kinda finds us in our right time! I am blown away by the concept, the story and all the emotions I felt. It warmed my heart on this cold -almost- winter day here in Quebec. You are one talented writer! I enjoyed every word of it <3 and my eyes are still a little wet.
