“Tragedy is when someone ends up dead. Everything else is just a bump in the road.”
Why can’t Anya Balanchine stay out of trouble?
Anya Balanchine is sixteen years old and she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. Her parents are dead, and her last name is notorious. Her grandmother, who is her primary caregiver, is slowly losing her mind. Anya is responsible for her older brother, who has had a major brain injury, and her little sister, who can’t stop having nightmares. The question is, who is taking care of Anya Balanchine?
Anya is barely holding it all together when she is accused of a crime she did not commit. Help arrives in the form of a boy from an influential family, but Anya doesn’t want that kind of help. Life has taught her that every favor comes with a price.
All These Things I’ve Done is the story of a family and the sacrifices a girl will make to keep that family together.

will be a movies about the books?
I would certainly like there to be one, but nothing definitive has happened yet. I think it might be more likely to end up on TV somewhere down the road.
So are you saying that there would possibly be a movie? This would be a good story to turn into a movie.
This series has honestly gotten me to love reading again, I can’t put the second book down. It is so well written and interesting. I am a junior in high school and I absolutely love how Anya is my age in the first book. And Win…. I LOVE WIN!!!!!!
i love this book
thank you!
This book gave me the strength to get through hardships in my life I am much like Anya, and the fact that she did makes me think that even though life is extremely difficult and don’t see how it could gt better, you keep being strong. and it does.
I am glad the book was helpful to you! It’s true — Anya’s most important quality is her resiliency. She is strong, not because she has physical strength, but because she doesn’t give up. Best wishes with everything, Gabrielle
this book is amazing and i hope there will be a second one
Thank you! There is a second one! (& a third one!)
