  1. No upstate New York (darn) but I was intrigued to see Watermark Books in Wichita. I believe I was a customer of theirs when I lived in Wichita from 1977 to 1981. Memories! I emailed the owner-I hope I hear back from her.

    1. I wish I were going to upstate New York! (I was born there.) I didn’t realize Watermark had been there so long — my first time to the store and to Wichita.

  2. Please consider “The Garden District Book Shop” In New Orleans. They are right in the University area and I bet they would love you to come. Students would show up to meet you from Tulane University and other colleges. Just a thought.

  3. I don’t know if this is the correct spot to put my comment, but here it is. I just finished your book, “The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry. I really enjoyed it. At this time in my life, I have made the decision to let authors, and other artists, know that I have enjoyed their work. Thank you so much for this book. In the words of my favorite author, “if this isn’t nice, what is ?.” Again, thank you for your book.

    1. Thank you! I DO appreciate hearing from you. And on a related topic, my favorite Kurt Vonnegut quote is,”There’s only one rule that I know of, babies—God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
