libraryjournal:

The ALA Midwinter conference has long been a bastion for children’s and YA authors, but I noticed this year a concerted push by publishers to bring more of their adult authors to the show. Among the notable writers making appearances were:  (top left) Gabrielle Zevin (The Storied Life of A.J. Fikrey); (top left) Beatriz Williams (A Hundred Summers); and (bottom right) Rosemary Harris (The Bitches of Brooklyn) with her pal, fellow author Lindsay Faye (The Gods of Gotham; Dust and Shadow). Publishers also made plenty of ARCS available, including Peter Heller’s The Painter.
