I’ll be reading at Books of Wonder this Saturday, October 22 along with this seriously awesome bunch:


Books of Wonder is thrilled to host 7 authors of exciting new fantastic tales for young readers. Please join us Saturday, October 22nd, as these wonderful authors take us on an adventurous ride through some great new works of fiction all featuring a teenage protagonist caught up in extreme situations. Joining us will be, SARAH BETH DURST who will share her new book Drink, Slay, Love, the story of an ordinary 16 year old vampire who happens to get stabbed by a unicorn horn; ALISON GOODMAN will present Eona, a fantastical companion to her Eon, which focuses on the first female Dragoneye in centuries; JEFF HIRSCH will introduce The Eleventh Plague, the story of a fifteen year old girl in post-apocalyptic America; JON SKOVRON will share Misfit, the tale of 16-year-old Jael Thompson — a Catholic-school student who just happens to also be half-demon; New York Times best-selling author SCOTT WESTERFELD will share Goliath, the thrilling conclusion to his Leviathan Trilogy; MARYROSE WOOD will regale us with Nightshade, the page turning story of a heartbroken 16 year old Jessamine Luxton — the second book in her The Poison Diaries ; and GABRIELLE ZEVIN will take us on a trip to New York in the year 2083 with All These Things I’ve Done; Beginning at noon this talented group of authors will present their new work of speculative fiction, take questions from the audience, and gladly sign copies of all their works. Ages 12 and up. 12-2pm.

This event is free and open to all. Please note that you are welcome to bring one book from home to be signed for each book you purchase on the day of the event.
